Raised by Swiss parents in the U.S. and Africa, Susi Wyss’ stories have appeared in numerous literary magazines, including Bellevue Literary Review and The Massachusetts Review. Her fiction is influenced by her twenty-year career managing international health programs in Africa. She holds a B.A. from Vassar, an M.P.H. from Boston University, and an M.A. in fiction writing from Johns Hopkins University. She is the recipient of awards and grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund for feminist artists, among others.
