Mary Jean Babic has worked as a newspaper reporter, freelance writer and editor, and creative writing teacher. She's a graduate of Northwestern University, Johns Hopkins University, and the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her fiction has appeared in The Missouri Review and in The Iowa Review. In 2001, she was accepted for a residency at the Ragdale Foundation. Mary Jean lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her husband Lou Rosenfeld, their daughter Iris, and Schwa the cat.
